Please reply if you can help or if you know of anyone who can please ask them to contact me John Hawke 021804922 hawkeyecleaning@gmail.com
Thank you
I have been contacted by Jenny Alison (021-503-060) who is looking for volunteer supports for the Annual Grocery Charity Ball on Saturday 7th September at the Viaduct Events Centre.
Dementia NZ will receive the proceeds.
Currently :
I)13 volunteers are still needed for the evening shift of 5pm – midnight assisting with the live and silent auction proceedings and re-stocking small volumes periodically, as well as packing up after 11pm. While this is a pretty tall ask for many club members it may be something that appeals to RYLArians and a few younger members. II)2 volunteers are required for the 1:30pm until 5pm shift setting up tables and seating etc
All volunteers will have supervision and a full briefing for their shift. A continuous food will be supplied in the evening and we hope to have Uber vouchers for their transport! |

Please register soon as this is going to a huge event
Fellow Rotarians, You are invited to the Presentations on Rotary Youth activities and events that have taken place over the past twelve months in the Auckland area. THE INVITATION IS ATTACHED This event involves young people giving short presentations on how they have benefited from their experiences in attending events such as RYPEN, MUNA, RYDA and the National Science Forum as well as gaining an understanding of some other High School programs such as the Rotary Enrichment Program , Post High School study scholarships and the Walsh Flying School Scholarship to name just a few.
The evening is run and facilitated by a team of RYLA Alumni drawn from participants over the past 4-5 years. We are confident that you will gain a good understanding of how these programs are benefitting young people in our district and be entertained in the process. This is a dinner event and places will be limited, so if you are interested in attending, please reserve the date and RSVP as soon as you decide you wish to attend.
